SII Semiconductor
SII Semiconductor Corporation, now known as ABLIC Inc., is a semiconductor manufacturer that was established in September 2015 as a subsidiary of Seiko Instruments Inc. The company specializes in the design, development, and manufacture of analog semiconductors, focusing on products with low current consumption, low-voltage operation, and ultra-small package technologies. Initially, SII Semiconductor succeeded Seiko Instruments' semiconductor business and expanded its operations through a joint investment by Development Bank of Japan Inc. in January 2016. The company changed its name to ABLIC Inc. on January 5, 2018, aiming to further enhance its global presence and growth in the analog semiconductor market.
